Nirdhar Foundation was born not from boardrooms — but from a single, burning conviction: that every human being, no matter where they were born or what they own, deserves to live with full dignity, access to care, and the freedom to realize their potential.
Founded in 2019 in the heart of Maharashtra, Nirdhar began as a small, passionate team of volunteers responding to urgent community needs — organizing health camps in underserved villages, distributing educational resources to children, and creating safe spaces for women to learn, grow, and lead.
Nirdhar means determination — the quiet, unshakeable resolve to keep going when the work is hard and the need is great. That spirit lives in every health camp we run, every woman we empower, and every child we educate.

When I founded Nirdhar Foundation in 2019, I did not have a grand blueprint. What I had was an abiding belief — that communities hold the answers to their own challenges, and that the role of any organization is simply to listen, show up, and build alongside them with patience and love.
Over five years, I have seen health camps transform how villages approach preventive care. I have watched women who were once told they couldn’t, go on to run their own businesses. I have planted saplings that have become trees. As the director of both Nirdhar Foundation and Faavera Global Foundation, I carry the same mission forward through two powerful channels.
